Orlando Pirates have completed the signing of highly-rated midfielder Masindi Nemtajela from Marumo Gallants ahead of the 2025/26 season. The 23-year-old has been a standout performer for Gallants this season, impressing with his skills as a six or eight.
Nemtajela, who previously played for Senaoane Gunners, has attracted interest from top PSL clubs, including Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune United. However, Pirates have moved swiftly to secure his services, reaching a club-to-club agreement with Gallants and signing him to a three-year deal with an option to extend.
The signing is expected to bolster Pirates' midfield, with Sihle Nduli set to join from Stellenbosch and Miguel Timm's departure looming. Pirates currently boast a talented midfield group, including Thalente Mbatha, Mkhehleni Makhaula, and Goodman Mosele.
