The PSL Disciplinary Committee (DC) has dismissed the case between Durban City and JDR Stars, which alleged that Saziso Magawana was incorrectly registered. The decision secures Durban City's promotion to the Betway Premiership.
The case was brought forth after JDR Stars played against City under protest, claiming Magawana's registration was invalid. However, the PSL DC dismissed the case, paving the way for City's promotion.
A similar case brought by Cape Town Spurs against Durban City regarding Magawana's registration is set to be heard at 18h30, but a similar outcome is expected.
With this development, Casric Stars and ORBIT College are likely to participate in the promotion playoffs against a team that finishes 15th in the Betway Premiership.
