Sekhukhune United are poised to sign midfielder Miguel Timm after his departure from Orlando Pirates. The 33-year-old's contract with Pirates expired in June, and the two parties opted to part ways after three seasons.
Timm, who won five domestic cups with Pirates, is expected to sign a one-year deal with an option to extend. He will undergo a medical with Sekhukhune United on Friday.
Eric Tinkler, Sekhukhune United's coach, who previously worked with Timm at Maritzburg United, has requested his signing to add depth to the midfield. Timm will compete with Thabang Monare, Relebogile Mokhuoane, and Siphesihle Mkhize for a starting spot.
